Who is Soul Roll Grace Outreach?
Soul Roll Grace Outreach (SRGO) is a faith-centered Arizona nonprofit founded in 2024 by the team behind the Soul Roll food truck. We serve Glendale, the West Valley, and greater Maricopa County with meals, community resources, mentorship, and outreach that restores dignity, gives hope, and shares grace.
Where do you serve?
Our primary service area is Glendale, Avondale, and the West Valley of greater Phoenix in Maricopa County, Arizona. Meal events, drives, and partner activations happen across the metro depending on need.
Are you a 501(c)(3)?
SRGO is an Arizona nonprofit corporation. Our federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination is pending; we will update donor tax-deductibility language on the site the moment the IRS issues our determination letter.

How is my donation used?
Every dollar goes toward meals, supplies, mentorship, and community events in the West Valley. See the Transparency page for our stewardship commitments and the Impact page for the numbers behind recent events.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Once our IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter is issued, donations will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Until then, please keep your receipt; we will provide updated documentation for prior donors as soon as the letter is confirmed.
Can I donate goods instead of money?
Yes. Our in-kind donation form on the Donate page lets you offer meals, clothing, toiletries, kitchen supplies, and more. We will coordinate a drop-off or pickup window that fits your schedule.
Do you accept recurring monthly gifts?
Yes — monthly giving is the single most helpful way to support SRGO. It lets us plan meal events, stock supplies, and grow programs like Recovery & Reentry with a stable base of support. Choose 'Monthly' on the Donate page.
Volunteer
How do I volunteer?
Fill out the form on our Volunteer page — choose the roles that fit you (serving meals, food prep, distribution, mentorship, admin) and the upcoming outreach dates that work for your schedule. We reach out to confirm and share event details.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
No. You can serve at a single meal event or sign up as a recurring team member. Mentorship roles ask for a longer commitment — usually one hour a week for at least six months — because consistency is what makes mentorship work.
Do I need a background check?
For meal-service and drive volunteers, no. For youth mentorship and any role with direct access to minors or vulnerable adults, yes — we run a background screening before your first session, at no cost to you.

How can my church, business, or foundation partner with SRGO?
We work with faith communities, corporate sponsors, foundations, and other nonprofits to expand meals, mentorship, and community events. Visit the Partner page to start the conversation — we will meet you where you are, from a one-time sponsorship to an ongoing partnership.
Do you accept in-kind sponsorships from businesses?
Yes. Restaurants, grocers, apparel brands, hygiene brands, and service providers can all contribute in ways that directly reach neighbors in need. Reach out through the Partner page and we will match your offering to a program.

I need food or help right now — what should I do?
Visit our Get Help page for immediate resources, including 24/7 shelter and food-security lines for Maricopa County. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For non-emergency human services in Arizona, call 211.
Do I need to prove income or bring an ID to get a meal?
No. Our meal events are for anyone who needs a hot plate — no ID, no paperwork, no questions. Dignity comes first.
