HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, serving up to 10 people experiencing homelessness and giving them a safe, home-like Christmas instead of just providing a meal. The plan included: * Safe overnight lodging with beds, blankets, pillows, and linens * Showers, towels, hygiene supplies, and clean/new clothing * Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals * A Christmas tree and decorations * Individual Christmas gifts * Fellowship, games, music, and a welcoming family atmosphere * Optional prayer and faith-centered encouragement * Information and connections to resources that could help after Christmas * Transportation and miscellaneous needs where necessary budget was approximately $4,180. A more comfortable version closer to $5,000, including roughly $1,500 for the rental/lodging. We also created sponsorship ideas, including along with donated items to lower the amount SRGO would need to pay directly. Our goal was also to find a place willing to rent to Soul Roll Grace Outreach for the event and businesses, and donors.
